Position Objective
We are looking for an experienced and driven digital performance strategist with proven success in the retail automotive sector. This role will liaise with a portfolio of Luxury retailers according to their territory. This opportunity includes, but is not limited to, leadership in training and educating luxury automotive retailers with the goal of improving their digital acumen, lead-handling processes, marketing effectiveness, brand alignment, and improved Digital Retail & Certification program utilization, resulting in increasing new CPO retail, service and parts sales and profitability for the OEM and dealerships. The Digital Business Consultant will be responsible for sustaining valuable consulting relationships with their portfolio of Luxury retailers, identifying areas of continual improvement across a myriad of digital business KPIs, and cultivating robust action plans to track collaborative success. He or she provides best-in-class digital business strategies that seek to enhance sales and marketing effectiveness for their retailers while ensuring a premium and industry-leading customer experience along the online sales funnel.
Primary Responsibilities
- Liaise with all relevant National, Area and Retail personnel and departments to ensure a regular and highly valuable consulting relationship
- Cultivate, implement, and track successful action plans for automotive retailers across a myriad of digital strategies, technologies, and processes
- Regularly report on weekly activities, dealer success and areas recognized for improvement
- Drive stakeholder consensus and alignment for strategy and digital tool adoption
- Be versatile. Adapt to take on new initiatives and ad-hoc projects regularly.
- Contribute to the advancement of the program. Develop and cultivate new initiatives that further the relationship with the OEM and dealerships.
- Stay cutting-edge on the latest developments in the Automotive Digital space and be able to quickly learn new technologies and techniques to add to your curriculum.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor Degree in business administration, marketing, or other relevant field from a leading institute of higher learning.
Experience (Job and Industry):
- 4-7 years of experience in the digital Automotive Consulting industry
- Extensive experience in consulting automotive retailers in digital sales and marketing strategy
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital products and platforms in retail automotive
- Experience with, understanding of and interest in new technologies
- Strong knowledge of the North American Automotive market
- Distinct retail and customer service knowledge/experience
- Knowledge of automotive retail sales systems and processes is helpful
- Deep knowledge of industry supporting auto dealerships with tools like CRM, DMS, DR etc.
- Extensive knowledge of sales and dealership processes in the automotive industry
- Advanced experience with standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Advanced expertise in automotive retail strategies and processes related to: CRM/Lead Management, Franchise Website Programs & Online Merchandising Strategy, Digital Retailing, Search Marketing, SEO, Social Media & Online Reputation, Data Mining, Analytics, Data Analysis and emerging technologies
