We are currently looking for an Accounting Intern to join the team. This individual will experience various aspects and activity of an accounting department of a privately held Digital Marketing company. Position allows the individual to gain practical accounting experience.
This position This position reports to the Assistant Controller and will also work directly with the Billing Lead and Accounting manager. Must be disciplined and self-motivated at times to work with minimal guidance and supervision to meet corporate objectives and deadlines.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the client billing process
- Assist in processing vendor invoices and payments
- Process assigned employee expense reports
- Assist in the travel management area; tracking trade show spend and setting up new users as needed
- Ad-hoc projects in general accounting and FP&A areas
- Filing and various other administrative tasks
- Assist in year-end audit related tasks
- Assist in Customer Contract management
- Coordinates and collaborates with other departments as needed in gathering information

- Professional demeanor displaying ethical conduct and integrity
- Proficiency in Excel with experience using MS Office Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Adherence to policies, procedures and instructions of Manager of Financial Reporting.
